Andrej A. Gajic awarded as
a National Geographic Explorer. He is coordinating an expert group of the
“Shark Tales” working on the better understanding of ecopathology: the
effects of the habitat loss and pollution on elasmobranch health and
specific disease development in the Atlantic ocean. He is an inspire and leader to develop aquatic environment, research and conserve sharks, skates and rays on global scales. Andrej A. Gajic has also awarded from Ruffor Foundation, IDEA Wild, WAITT Foundation and published over 50 research papers. He is pioneering studies in the fields of ecology, pathology and genetics of the sharks, skates and rays. He is a great scientist in the Bosnia and Herzegovina.
